Group Project Presentation - End

Our group presentation is about children learning and education. Our target user scope is the children between 5 to 12 years old; that is from preschool to standard 6.
We already done our last presentation in SIM 3202 for this semester. Thanks Pn.Azrina gave us the chance and guide us to do our project and presentation.

Thanks for everything. Now, we need to focus on our Part B report and our FINAL EXAMINATION!!

Group assignment again huh?!

What?! Group assignment again?! Sigh... >.< This time, we are assigned to find one bad web form design to point out their weaknesses, and suggest ways to improve it. It is quite difficult to find a bad one, because the website must be based in Malaysia also. At last, we decided to use Zurich Insurance member registration form. It is typically a simple form design and easy to point out some weaknesses. Pictures below are the weaknesses we found and will be discussed in detail during presentation next week. 

Another task is asking us to design a web form from scratch. We decided to design a sign up account form. Since we are doing the topic of children learning/ education, the web form must be designed in a simpler way and easy to understand so as to minimize the user resources when attempt to the form. Our target group is children from pre-school until primary school, we do not request email address information because they might not have an email. And the most important thing is, the aesthetic of the web form. Children will be more willing to fill out the form if the design looks attractive to them. Below is the form that we design after take in consideration of design principles and guidelines.

Frankly speaking, I hope there will be no more assignment again, we are busy for other course assignment too. Pn Azrina, please be kind to us ya, thanks :)

Woohoo.... is holiday ! Is time for me to visit the kids to gain same information for our group project-children education and learning. This time round, I visited my nephews and niece to see what they are learning and how they are learning. I am so surprised that they are no longer buying learning book but they learn through e-learning instead. Imagine a child learning and playing by having an ipad....

Group Project Discussion

After long break, this is the first assignment that we have to do! We have to choose one category to do our group project. After discussing among ourselves, finally we came to decision to choose 'Children Learning and Education'. Our scope may focus on children between 5-12 years old. We think that this topic is quite interesting and we can get the chance to interact with the kids. Hopefully, we may make other projects successful.
